Almost 80% of seniors surveyed said they enjoyed taking the grandkids along with them on their trips while their parents remained at home. The rise in popularity of Grandtravel can be attributed to several factors. The first is that the grandparents get to spend a lot more time with their grandkids as opposed to just seeing them whenever their parents found time to bring them around. The second is that the children's parents get a much-needed break in order to spend some quality time together. Kids Come First
One thing that studies about Grandtravel have shown is that seniors are often much more democratic when it comes to making decisions with their grandkids. They not only include the kids in decisions about where to eat and what to do on vacation, but will often concede to their grandkids' wishes.
